Massive thanks to everyone for coming out last night to support  Moreton Bay Region Lunar New Year. There were record crowds and we are so pleased to be able to help bring this event to the Moreton Bay Region.

Big thanks to Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Visit Moreton Bay Region for collaborating with the Multicultural Association of Caboolture and Surrounds on the event. You did a stellar job with promotion, organisation, hosting, theming and setting up. Thanks for keeping it 100% authentic! Thank you Nooreen for being the driving force from MACS Inc. in helping bring this event to fruition.

Thank you also to all the stall holders, the entertainers (especially our friends from Brisbane and Sunnybank), food trucks and of course the organisers and volunteers. Without you all this event would not have been the amazing success it was.

Finally, thank you to MPs Honourable Mark Ryan MP, Susan Lamb MP Longman, Rick Williams MP Pumicestone and Adam Hain - Div 3 Councillor MBRC for coming out in support of the event and to Multicultural Affairs Minister Honourable Grace Grace MP for attending. The first Moreton Bay Lunar New Year was hosted on February 6th 2016 and it was an event to be remembered!

It was everything one could expect! A celebration packed with free entertainment, traditional music and dance, Asian-infused cultural experiences and delicious traditional Asian food. To top the night off, there was a grand fireworks display.
