CHRISTMAS may be different in the Philippines but the Caboolture Filipino community still has something to celebrate thanks to the Multicultural Association of Caboolture and Surrounds.
MACS is collaborating with Aplos Kalinga, a group of Filipino nurses in aged care, to provide a festive taste of home at the Morayfield Community Hall. RSL Care Fernhill clinical manager Bien Stirling said she approached MACS with the idea so they could educate the Filipino community about home care and respite.
